September Goals | 2017

(Surprise!! I redesigned LWK last night and I am SO happy with the way it turned out! Of course, I’m still figuring out the proper widgets to have and where, but I hope you guys like it. Let me know what you all think!)

Happy Friday! Also, happy September! It is hard to believe that another month has come and gone. Where has 2017 gone?

I want to start this post by saying my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those in Texas. I’m sending you guys so much love and positive vibes, and it’s been amazing seeing people travelling from throughout the country to come and help those in need. If you’re looking for ways to donate and help, the love Cristina has put together this post on ways to donate to local groups in the Houston area.

With a new month beginning, I try to focus the first day of the month to set goals for myself. Whether they’re blogging related, work related, or overall lifestyle related, I always do my best to set at least three.

Instagram is something that I struggle with. I love posting on the platform but struggle with generating content for it. I want to do my best to post every weekday during September. I know it can be hard, and there is a good chance I won’t be able to actually do it, but I’m going to try! If you guys have any suggestions for having maintained a schedule with Instagram, I would love to hear them! (Shameless plug if you aren’t following me, you can do so here!)

+ Get Back into Exercising

During the last two weeks of August, I actually had to get a minor dermatology surgery which required stitches. Unfortunately, this meant my exercising had to come to a halt. Running is something that I genuinely enjoy doing (I know, that makes me sound crazy), and I want to try to get back into it this month. Especially with it being September now, this might (I reiterate might) soon start to get a bit cooler in Florida, so exercising outside won’t be completely miserable.

+ Make & Perfect a Sleep Schedule (!)

Now, this one has an exclamation because it is a high priority for me. I’ve been trying to set, and maintain, a sleep schedule for a while now and I’m determined to do it! I want to wake up early in the morning to give time to read blogs, write some posts, go on social media, etc. I love starting my day that way! I’m also hoping to start working soon (fingers crossed for positive vibes) and doing this would be a great way to ease myself into work life.

What are your goals for September? Let’s conquer this month together!

Your site looks amazing, Kendal! Seriously, I love it. The sleep schedule sounds like a great goal for me to adopt, too. I’m a little all over the place with bedtimes and wake-up times and could definitely be more consistent. Something to work on for sure!
