Happy Monday! I hope you guys all had a great weekend, and are having a great Monday so far. Apologies for no post on Friday, I was running out of ideas and didn’t want to post something that didn’t require a lot of effort! I hope you guys understand. Speaking of posting, I’m really burnt out with ideas and would love to hear if you guys have any suggestions on what I should post.

This weekend was super warm here in North Carolina! It was in the 80s basically both days and it was so nice to sit out in the warm sun and hang out with friends. It’s still crazy that I’m a little over two weeks away from graduating, it still doesn’t feel real! As of right now I still have no idea what I’m doing following graduation, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out. I have a freak out at least twice, or even three times, a week that I don’t have a job lined up yet…

I’ve really been enjoying the whole ‘monochrome’ look recently, and it’s definitely showing it in this mood board. With the addition to some pink and greens, this is a pretty monochrome board, and I’m loving it! I really want to try to build a capsule wardrobe once I’m in my own place and working. I feel like it makes everything so much easier when getting dressed and such.

This week is much less stressful than the last. I just have a presentation on Wednesday, but I think that’s about it! What do you guys have on your plate this week? As always, et me know what you think of this mood board! I hope you guys have a great Monday!

My Favorite YouTube Vloggers

I don’t know about you guys, but I am always watching YouTube videos. From beauty videos to fashion videos and even daily vloggers, I’m always looking for new people to watch. I love to watch these videos while I’m getting ready for class in the morning as well as winding down before bed. I figured that I would share my favorite vloggers of the moment with you all in case you guys are looking for some new ones! They range from family-oriented vloggers to just overall daily, weekend, or weekly vloggers.

+ KKandBabyJ
Keren and Khoa have the absolutely cutest family. They have two sons, Jackson and Landon, and they vlog about their daily lives in Central Florida (where I’m also from!). One thing I love about them is how much they love their subscribers. At the end of every video, they shout out someone on Twitter who has RT’ed their tweet about the previous vlog. They are also always updating their Snapchats and responding to people on Twitter!

+ OKbaby
Oscar and Kyra are also family vloggers! They have one son and one daughter, Levi and Alaya, and also vlog every day. They’re also best friends with Keren and Khoa! They aren’t from Florida, but rather Utah, so they’re always showing the beautiful landscape around them (that I wish I got to see every day!). Kyra is also constantly updating her social media accounts and responding to things people are saying. It’s honestly one of my favorite things about following them (and KKandBabyJ) aside from vlogging, because they really care about their followers!

+ Gretchen + Lucy
I found this channel through Gretchen’s beauty channel, and I’ve been hooked ever since. She and her twin sister vlog practically every day, especially on vacations. One thing I enjoy about their videos is that you really never know what they’re going to be about! Sometimes they’re short in length, while other times they can be long. I also enjoy watching them since they’re around my age and also in college, so it’s cool to see what college life to them is like! Make sure to check out Gretchen’s beauty channel if you enjoy anything makeup, fashion, or lifestyle related.

+ CaseyHolmesVlogs91
Casey is also a beauty and fashion YouTuber over on her other channel, but she also maintains a vlogging on in addition to it! I love watching her vlogs to see what her daily life is like, but also because she has the absolute cutest dogs, Daisy and Rose. She just got engaged, so she’s been updating her followers with that process, but also vlogs her meetups, etc.

+ xameliax
Amelia vlogs on a weekly basis, in addition to her blog. I love watching these when I have some time to relax or when I’m getting ready because they are always pretty long, but good! She’s always super positive in her videos, even when something bad may happen, and I really admire that from her. She puts so much effort into what she does and you can tell she loves doing it. If you’re looking for a good UK-based vlogger, definitely check her out because she deserves so much more recognition than she gets!

Who are your favorite vloggers, if you watch them? I’m always looking for new people to watch and would love to discover some!

Monday Mood Board | No. 8

Happy Monday! This weekend was very uneventful, unfortunately. It rained all day yesterday, and for most of the day on Saturday. All of our warm weather has gone away and been replaced by cool temperatures and wind. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it goes away by mid-week!

I really want to start posting more on this blog… I know you guys probably think that’s crazy since I post every MWF, but I really want to try to post every weekday starting at some point. I think once I’m graduated and figuring out the post-grad life, I will try to do that. There are so many things I want to start doing! Starting with a YouTube channel and fashion posts, those are my top two! Hopefully, in the next two or three months, I will get a start to those. If you have any recommendations for posts or things I should do over here on Life With Kendal, please let me know!

How was your weekend? I hope the weather was better for you all. This upcoming week is going to be pretty calm, class wise. But I have a big project due on Friday that I am going to be spending a lot of outside time doing. As the year is winding down, the workload is definitely starting to fluctuate week-to-week. What about you guys?

As I say in every MBM, I love hearing from you guys. I hope you all have a great day and start to your week! 🙂

BECCA Prismatic Amethyst Highlighter Review

Colored highlighters seem to be all the rage right now. Especially cool-toned ones! I’ve been a fan of the BECCA highlighters ever since Champagne Pop was released. When they released the Prismatic Amethyst highlighter I knew I had to run to the nearest Sephora to grab it.

First off, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The metallic purple and silver are so eye-catching, there’s no chance of losing it in your makeup collection. It’s the traditional shape of the BECCA highlighters but catered to the Prismatic Amethyst shade. The actual highlight itself is also stamped and shaped into a more detailed pan.

When it comes to the actual shade, I want the pictures to do it justice! Of course, I can rave about it as much as I want, but I definitely think to see the actual color payoff is much more important. Here is my face makeup without the highlight and then once it is applied. As you can tell, I have extremely pale skin. But, the shade is really flattering nonetheless!

This highlight would look gorgeous on all different skin tones. You can also use it as an eyeshadow or inner corner highlight as well. The BECCA highlights have many different uses and they last ages! I have several myself and am just now about to run out on one that I’ve had for almost three years.

Have you tried the BECCA Prismatic Amethyst highlighter, or any of the other ones from BECCA? I’d love to hear your thoughts! The next item of theirs that I’m eyeing is definitely this Chrissy Teigen collaboration palette…

Graduate with Minted

Announcements c/o Minted

I am officially one month and one day away from walking across the stage. I know I mention this in every graduation-related post, but I can’t believe how fast this semester has gone by. I’m officially in the final stretch! I received my announcements in the mail this past week and haven’t been able to put them down since.

As mentioned in a previous post, Minted has every paper item imaginable. They offer so many different designs catering to all different taste and styles for graduation announcements. These ones are absolutely gorgeous! I love the rose gold foil detailing, and the size of them is great. They’re perfect for sticking on a fridge or bulletin board so the people you send them to don’t forget. I also noticed how high quality the actual paper is, they aren’t thin or bend easily which is always good.

They even come with envelopes, which are also customizable. I stuck to the basic white ones, but you’re able to get addresses printed onto them, as well as a metallic foil to go along with the foil on the announcement themselves.

If you’re still in the market for graduation announcements and other paper goods, you definitely want to check out Minted’s site!

Thank you to Minted for sponsoring this post. While the links are affiliate links, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
