Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation Review

I’ve always wanted to try the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation for years after seeing tons of people recommending it. Unfortunately, I have much oilier skin than everyone who has talked about it, so I steered clear of it. Recently they released this Power Fabric foundation that is catered more towards us oilier gals, and I knew I had to try it. It claims to be long wearing and even has a good SPF.

I tried to get this in an actual Sephora store, but the one closest to me didn’t have it so I had to order it online. I’m always weary of purchasing products like foundation off the web because you never know if the color will match. I have the lightest shade in the range, and it matches me perfectly! It’s a cooler pale with pink undertones which looks great on my complexion.

Here is my face without the foundation. As you can tell, I don’t have many blemishes at the moment and am really just looking for something that will even out my complexion (I have some redness which you can’t tell as much in this photo). My biggest need for a foundation is something that will not sink into my pores and will last several hours without having to blot or re-powder.

And here is my face with the foundation! As you can see, I’m still very pale (this was before blush, bronzer, and highlight), but everything is blurred and it doesn’t look cakey.

The wear time on this foundation is great! I can wear it for hours without having to apply powder again, probably around 12 hours generally. This is definitely one of my favorite foundations overall! I highly recommend it if you have combination/oily skin with a concern with pores as well as oil control. I use a beauty blender to apply it, which gives it a more airbrushed finish.

Have you tried this foundation? I’d love to hear your thoughts if you have.
